Principle to Keep

Principles affect our daily decisions and the way that we live our lives. If we are taught to have good principles, these beliefs can help us make the right decisions and guide us through our whole lives. A principle that I think is very important and essential to keep, is to have empathy for others. Empathy allows us to understand and share feelings with the other people around us. Empathy lets us experience happy feelings with others, but it also lets us experience the hard and sad feelings. Empathy makes us want to help others when we see that they are in need, because we also feel the pain that they are in. Empathy is mostly what makes humans human because it makes us want to help those in need that are around us. In The Road the Man and the Boy have this principle because they help others that they see on the Road. The Man and the Boy saw the pain that the old man was in, so they gave him food and helped him. This is because they knew the pain that he was in and knew that they needed to help him.
